Security Officer

Position: Security Officer at Irving Oil
Ensure safety as a Security Officer with Irving Oil in Saint John. Be the first line of defense in maintaining security across various locations with a focus on exceptional customer service.

As a Security Officer, you will uphold Irving Oil’s safety standards while serving employees, customers, and visitors. This temporary role operates around the clock in a 24/7 environment, with responsibilities like greeting individuals and responding to emergencies. Your ability to deliver excellent service and adapt to changing situations will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, employees, and customers professionally

• Maintain visible security presence at all times

• Dispatch security and medical teams during emergencies

• Enforce Facility Access Policy for all visitors

• Report incidents and contact emergency services when needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required

• Valid Canadian driver's license

• Criminal Justice or Police Foundations background preferred

• Current First Aid certification is a plus

• Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
