Job Description

RSU 14 is currently looking for full‑time bus driver(s). This position is benefits eligible (medical and dental insurance). Starting date:
Immediately.

• Clean driving record with no convictions or moving violations.
• Maine CDL License held or in process of obtaining a Maine CDL License. RSU 14 provides federal entry‑level driver training to selected candidates.
• Physically able to board and exit the bus without assistance.
• Capable of properly operating the bus.
• Pass a driver’s license, background check, and pre‑employment drug/alcohol test.
• When licensed in another state during the last five years, must provide a copy of that state’s driving record.
• Subject to a criminal history background check and must obtain an approved Maine CHRC (Criminal History Records Check) with the Maine Department of Education.
• Hold a valid State of Maine CDL License with School Bus endorsement.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
