Part-Time Charitable Pickup Driver

Drive for good with the National Diabetes Trust as a part-time Charitable Donations Pickup Driver. Collect and deliver donations from homes and bins while promoting the organization’s mission.

In this vital role, you will work up to 29 hours per week, supporting the National Diabetes Trust's commitment to collecting gently used items. Your responsibilities include safely operating a 3-Ton truck, engaging with the public, and accurately logging pickups. Knowledge of organizational goals and strong customer service skills are essential to fostering positive community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive established routes for pickup and delivery

• Promote the National Diabetes Trust mission publicly

• Conduct pre and post trip inspections for safety

• Log all pickups and submit required paperwork

• Ensure only authorized personnel ride in the vehicle

Requirements:

• Grade 12 education or equivalent experience

• Full Class 5 license with clean driving record

• Minimum 5 years driving experience required

• Ability to lift loads between 10-50 lbs

• Effective communication and organizational skills
