Dental Assistant

The Dental Center of Mishawaka is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our friendly, patient-focused team in Mishawaka, IN!

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping our patients feel comfortable and cared for while supporting the dentist and clinical team. We’re committed to providing excellent dental care in a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

• Full-time schedule:
  Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the dentist during procedures

• Provide compassionate, friendly patient care

• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

• Take X-rays and assist with impressions and other diagnostics

• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and other safety requirements

• Assist with dental and medical emergencies as needed

• 1+ year of hands-on dental assisting experience

• X-Ray certification required

• Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required

• Nitrous Oxide certification highly recommended

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain required annual training
