Overview
Forest River Marine, a leading manufacturer of high-quality pontoons (brands like Berkshire, Dockside, South Bay, and Trifecta), is hiring an Entry-Level Draftsman in Bristol, IN. This role is for recent graduates or individuals eager to learn drafting and design in the marine industry.
What You’ll Do- Create and update technical drawings using CAD software
- Assist engineers with design documentation and dimensional reviews
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Training certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent experience
- Experience or training in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor is a major plus!)
- Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read tape measures and calipers
- Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and teamwork
- Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with engineering terminology
