• Support the manufacturing of military vehicles
• Manage process improvements, tool selection, fixture designing, automation, production new production implementation and lean concepts
• Develop and implement manufacturing standards, systems, and procedures for products
• Develop improvement based key performance indicators to enable progress to be measured
• Develop, train and mentor an effective technical team through teamwork and communication
• Manage effective engineering change management procedures and policies
• Develop Configuration for foreign order requests in the absence of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager
• Direct the development and implementation of procedures, controls, and cost reduction programs to ensure operations cost objectives are achieved
• Review and manage Engineering Change Proposals from the USG and within AMG for the HMMWV and JLTV programs
• Provide support in SAP for HMMWV and JLTV service orders

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Engineering Technology preferred
• Other Engineering discipline or equivalent experience with an emphasis on automotive assembly operations accepted
• 5+ years manufacturing engineering experience is required
• 5+ years leadership and/or management experience in an automotive environment is required
• Green Belt in Lead Six Sigma is a plus
• Experience with A3 Problem Solving
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
• Strong computer skills in MS Office applications
• Thorough knowledge of CAD, UG and Vis-Mock Up and Team Center a plus
• Must be able to take charge of programs through interfacing with departments and vendors

• Agility: must be able to regularly bend, stretch, twist, or reach out with the body, arms, or legs to perform job tasks, including the ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, Company’s property surrounding facility, or additional work areas
• Climbing / Kneeling: must be able to occasionally climb, kneel, bend over, stoop, crouch, or crawl, with balance
• Lifting: must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds with or without assistance
• Physical Strength: must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry objects using hands, arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups
• Stamina: must be able to occasionally exert oneself physically over long periods of time, including performing repetitive or strenuous tasks as well as standing and sitting for long periods
