Erskine Industrial Talent is conducting a confidential search for a direct hire position on behalf of a privately held manufacturer in Northern Indiana for a hands-on Director of Finance to serve as a true partner to the CEO and leadership team.

This is not a traditional finance role. You will help run the business by shaping strategy, challenging assumptions, evaluating opportunities, managing risk, and improving operational and financial performance.

• Partner with the CEO on business strategy and key decisions
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
• Drive manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, pricing, and profitability analysis
• Evaluate capital investments, growth opportunities, and operational improvements
• Strengthen financial controls, processes, and business systems
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team
• Turn financial and operating data into clear, actionable recommendations

• 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment
• Strong cost-accounting, inventory, ERP, and financial-reporting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
