Overview

Medical Assistant, Lead (Physician office, Mishawaka IN), $6,500 sign on bonus — Full-Time position at Pinnacle Hospital.

• Provides administrative and clinical assistance to physician in the examination and treatment of patients in the office.
• Front desk reception assistance required based on scheduling needs.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Performs tasks like: greet and register patients via manual or computer entry system; escorting patients to room and taking brief history of illness and/or chief complaint; phlebotomy; taking vitals (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height and weight) on all patients.
• Maintains patient flow to physicians or other attending staff; assists (within the legal scope of practice) physician or other attending staff when needed.
• Preparing room with equipment and supplies as required; maintaining inventory of supplies.
• Assists with routine office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, when needed or as directed.
• Hours will be typically Monday-Friday.
