Ziker Cleaners is seeking an experienced, motivated, and personable Human Resources Generalist to join our team!

This is a hands‑on position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple departments and locations. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing daily HR responsibilities with projects that support our employees and continued growth.
What You'll DoAs our HR Generalist, you'll play an important role in supporting employees and management throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
Recruiting & Onboarding- Manage the full recruiting process, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and hiring coordination.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and employment documentation.
- Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and improve recruiting strategies.
- Represent Ziker Cleaners at job fairs, networking events, and community recruiting opportunities to build relationships and attract talent.
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related matters.
- Support managers with employee relations, coaching, performance management, and policy interpretation.
- Coordinate performance reviews and assist with employee development initiatives.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented workplace.
- Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Review employee timecards, monitor attendance, and maintain employee records.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
- Maintain accurate information within our HR and payroll systems.
- Assist with HR reporting, audits, and process improvements.
- Help ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Assist with employee handbook updates, policy administration, and documentation.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs, company events, and engagement initiatives.
- Support HR operations across multiple locations and states.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional human resources experience.
- Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Working knowledge of HR practices and employment law fundamentals.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
- Willingness and ability to attend required networking, recruiting, and company events, including occasional events outside regular business hours.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems, particularly Paylocity.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple states.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
