Midwest Finishing Systems is a leader in the design, fabrication, and installation of complete turnkey systems for industrial finishing and powder coating applications. We custom design and build all our pre-treatment washers, dry-off and cure ovens, environmental rooms, conveyance systems, and controls to specific requirements.
Midwest Finishing Systems is seeking a General Assembly Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of equipment to ensure proper operation and quality standards are met.
General Assembly Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) Duties/Responsibilities:- Assemble complex wiring layouts
- Set up and testing of system components
- Communicating problems and quality control issues to co-workers and managers
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Operating a forklift, pallet jack, or other equipment to load and ship products
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of 480
VAC, 120
VAC, and 24
VDC wiring - Basic understanding of electrical prints
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Prepping assemblies mechanically and electrically
- Bending EMT conduit
- Installation of wire basket and cables
- General use of hand tools
- Willing to travel on a limited basis
Must possess a valid driver's license and satisfactorily pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check. DUI, reckless driving, or excessive at-fault accidents may be disqualifying.
