Overview

Best-One Tire & Auto Care is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our commercial service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial trucks and trailers both in-shop and on-site. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diesel engines and trailer systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

• Truck & Trailer Maintenance:
  Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering, and suspension.
• Conduct alignments, welding, and metal fabrication as needed.
• Inspect and service trailer components including tires, hubs, axles, and hydraulic systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance services and DOT inspections.

• Road Service & Fleet Support:
  Operate heavy-duty service trucks and tools for mobile repairs.
• Respond to emergency roadside service calls and perform on-site repairs.
• Conduct fleet inspections and communicate mechanical needs to service and sales teams.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Safely operate diagnostic equipment, lifts, jacks, and power tools.
• Document services performed and submit reports to management.

• Experience with diesel engines and trailer systems; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and trailers both in-shop and on-site.
