Stairlift - Installer - South Bend

Overview

Leaf Home Stairlift is hiring installers in the South Bend area. You will primarily provide installation of stairlifts inside and outside of the home, with potential career growth paths to trainer, installation manager, or regional manager.

• Install stairlifts inside and outside of customers’ homes.
• Utilize strong mechanical/carpentry skills with high attention to detail.
• Travel as required (could involve overnight stays, state-to-state).
• Handle tools and equipment needed for installation.

• Prefer 1 year of carpentry/construction skills including light electrical skills (ability to add or move outlets).
• Have a vehicle such as a box truck, cargo van, full-size pickup, or full-size SUV.
• Current or ability to obtain general liability and workers’ compensation insurance or state exemption (we can assist).
• Willing to travel; overnight stays may be required.
• Must have all necessary tools for the job, including: box wrenches, Allen wrenches, 12” miter saw, nut driver set, and drill/driver extension.

• This is a 1099 contractor position.
• Stairlift installation compensation averages around $250–$350 and takes about 2–4 hours; curved stairlifts average around $600 and take about 4–6 hours.
