Yonge Street Mission (YSM) is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to oversee revenue accounting and compliance within its impactful mission. This role, grounded in Christian values, requires a CPA designation (or progress towards) and 5+ years of accounting experience—preferably within the non-profit sector. Key focus areas include revenue recognition and month-end financial reporting to support community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all revenue transactions in compliance with ASNPO standards

• Oversee month-end and year-end revenue accounting activities

• Prepare journal entries and financial statement disclosures

• Monitor grant funding and donor contributions for compliance

• Collaborate with finance and program teams on reporting

Requirements:

• CPA designation or working towards it

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 5 years of non-profit revenue accounting experience

• Proficient in internal controls and audit processes

• Advanced Excel skills required
