Position: Municipal Labourer for Roads & Drainage
Join the City of Mission as a Municipal Labourer focused on Roads & Drainage. Engage in construction and maintenance activities within a growing community's essential infrastructure.

Mission is seeking two full-time Labourer2 team members for its Public Works department. This hands-on role requires performing diverse tasks, including concrete finishing, crack sealing, and leading snow removal efforts. You'll operate vehicles up to one-tonne trucks and collaborate with your Crew Supervisor to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct sidewalk maintenance and drainage repairs

• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials

• Prepare and implement traffic control plans

• Spot and guide backhoe operations as needed

• Keep accurate records of the work performed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Substantial experience in general construction required

• Valid Class5 BC Driver’s Licence mandatory

• Class1 or3 with air endorsement is an asset

• Must possess Occupational First Aid Level1 & Traffic Control Certification
