Director Critical Data Centers

Shape the future of data center infrastructure as WSP Canada's Director of Mission Critical & Data Centers. This role involves strategic leadership and electrical design expertise to foster next-generation solutions.

You will play a vital role in overseeing mission-critical projects in the Greater Toronto Area, driving innovation, energy efficiency, and resilience across WSP's data centers. As the Electrical Subject Matter Expert, you will engage with clients, mentor teams, and ensure quality and budget adherence throughout project life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the electrical design for large-scale data centers

• Manage project scope, timeline, and costs effectively

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and project managers

• Develop robust client engagement strategies and proposals

• Deliver technical insights during design discussions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with P.Eng. certification

• 15+ years in mission-critical environments

• Expertise in medium-voltage and resilience strategies

• Proven experience leading large teams

• Excellent client-facing and consultation skills
