Position: Mission Engineering Technologist 3 – Project Oversight
Elevate your career as an Engineering Technologist 3 with the City of Mission. Oversee vital capital projects and ensure the successful delivery of municipal engineering initiatives.

This dynamic full-time position focuses on leading water, sewer, and road projects in the Capital Projects Division. You will utilize your expertise in civil engineering to manage contracts, conduct inspections, and coordinate teams effectively. Ability to work independently and evaluate technical details is critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage various municipal engineering projects and implementations

• Conduct inspections and monitor project timelines and budgets

• Prepare detailed contract documents and reports

• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders for project success

• Approve utility permits and provide engineering design input

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent

• Five years of capital project management experience

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Membership eligibility with ASTTBC as Engineering Technologist

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence necessary
