Capital Projects Engineering Technologist

In this full-time position, you will be pivotal in the planning, implementation, and management of complex engineering projects, overseeing several municipal initiatives that enhance community services. You will prepare contract documents, conduct site inspections, and ensure adherence to standards and budgets. The successful candidate will also mentor staff and collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer diverse municipal engineering projects
• Prepare and evaluate contract documentation
• Review and monitor utility permits and expenditures
• Lead inspections and contract oversight
• Develop technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering Technology diploma required
• Five years of related experience necessary
• Membership with ASTTBC is required or eligible
• Effective project management skills
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence necessary
