As part of the Engineering & Capital Projects Department, this temporary full-time role lasts 8 months with the possibility of extension. You will play a crucial role in overseeing lifecycle management plans and supporting construction contracts. A strong background in municipal engineering, along with excellent organizational and analytical skills, is essential for thriving in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain asset data and software efficiently
• Develop and monitor condition assessment programs
• Conduct infrastructure inspections and evaluations
• Prepare reports and recommendations for asset management
• Support cost estimates and consultant assignments
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Technology
• Minimum five years in a municipal engineering setting
• Experience with asset lifecycle reporting and costing
• Membership or eligibility with ASTTBC
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
