Fraser Health Casual Social Worker

As a key player in the Residential Services team, your responsibilities include facilitating admissions, providing counseling and maintaining records. By collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will work to create a supportive environment for both residents and their families, ensuring quality care throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee admissions and conduct necessary interviews

• Assist families with equipment and financial applications

• Provide continuous support from pre-admission through care

• Chair meetings for Resident Council and Family Support groups

• Maintain detailed documentation on resident care

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate degree in Social Work required

• At least one year of experience in residential settings

• Current registration with the BC College of Social Workers

• Proven ability to communicate and establish relationships

• Physical ability to perform job duties
