Network Analyst

Position: City Network Analyst Role
Join the City of Mission as a full-time Network Analyst, where analytical problem-solving and effective communication are essential. This position focuses on maintaining and enhancing the City’s network systems.

As a key member of the City’s Information Technology division, you will engage in the installation, configuration, and management of network hardware and software. Your tasks will include troubleshooting performance issues, maintaining system security, and ensuring the proper functioning of both wired and wireless technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage installations of various network components

• Monitor and tune hardware and software for performance

• Document and resolve network hardware/software failures

• Perform network security administration tasks

• Support VPN and firewall configurations effectively

Requirements:

• Diploma in computer sciences or related discipline

• Minimum of three years' experience in technical support

• Familiarity with Nutanix, Cohesity, and VPN technologies

• Required Microsoft Azure Administration certification

• Must pass RCMP Secret Security Clearance
