As a member of the IT division, you will perform critical tasks involving the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network components. Your analytical skills will be vital in troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring the integrity of the City's communication systems. Familiarity with Linux and cloud technologies will elevate your contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform network hardware installations and configurations
• Investigate and resolve network software issues
• Monitor system performance and maintain hardware
• Administer security measures across network infrastructure
• Provide user support for desktop applications
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma and three years in a similar role
• Experience with network security and virtualization
• Certified in Microsoft Azure Administration
• Fortinet NSE4+ certification as an asset
• Must obtain RCMP Secret Security Clearance
