As a member of the Parks, Recreation & Culture department, you will perform essential cleaning and maintenance tasks at facilities like ice arenas and pools. You'll operate cleaning equipment, maintain grounds, and assist with setting up for events. Building strong relationships with staff and the public is key to delivering professional service in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform janitorial and custodial duties at facilities
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly
• Conduct minor maintenance and repairs as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for users
• Assist with meeting and program set-ups
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Building Service Worker or equivalent certification
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
• Minimum six months' experience in building operations
• Basic First Aid and Refrigeration Safety Awareness certification
Help maintain the City of Mission's facilities and provide exceptional service while working nights.
