Position: Facilities Operations Attendant with City
Join the City of Mission as a part-time Facilities Operations Attendant 1, where you'll enhance community services by maintaining cleanliness and safety at public facilities.

This role is essential for the City of Mission, focusing on janitorial tasks and minor maintenance activities. You'll manage cleaning duties, support minor repairs, and engage with facility users. Strong communication skills and physical stamina are crucial to deliver results effectively in this hands-on position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cleaning and custodial duties within municipal facilities

• Collect and manage refuse, ensuring area cleanliness

• Assist with minor repairs and maintenance of equipment

• Help maintain outdoor areas, including snow removal and ice management

• Build rapport with coworkers and facility users

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or similar qualifications

• Six months’ experience in facility maintenance

• Basic First Aid and safety certifications

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively

• Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence required
