Housekeeping Role for Senior Clients

Become a vital part of our Better at Home program as a Housekeeper, delivering essential cleaning services to seniors. Help them maintain their independence and stay active in their communities.

In this role, you will work closely with the Program Coordinator to arrange a flexible client cleaning schedule. Responsibilities involve educating clients on service expectations, performing various cleaning tasks, and ensuring a safe environment through proper chemical handling. Your work will directly impact seniors' daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create schedules for ongoing client visits

• Conduct orientations for new clients on services

• Manage travel between client homes effectively

• Follow health and safety protocols with cleaning supplies

• Report damages or issues to the Program Coordinator

Requirements:

• Grade 10 education and 6 months of related experience

• Experience in housekeeping or caregiving preferred

• Strong verbal communication skills mandatory

• Criminal record check clearance required

• Valid B.C. Driver’s License necessary
