Overview
Embrace the art of winemaking as a Harvest Intern at Mission Hill Family Estate Winery in West Kelowna. Contribute to grape processing, fermentation, and quality assurance this seasonal role from July to December.
Responsibilities- Operate equipment for grape processing and fermentation
- Sort and process fruit with gentle handling
- Participate in pressing grapes and monitoring juice transfers
- Maintain sanitized and organized work areas in the cellar
- Assist with bottling line support and final product checks
- Post-secondary education in winemaking or related field
- Previous harvest experience is an asset
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable in wide-ranging temperature and confined spaces
- Forklift Operator’s Certificate is a plus
