As a Harvest Intern, you’ll engage in various cellar activities, ensuring quality winemaking through safe and efficient grape processing. Ideal candidates should be enthusiastic about winemaking, physically fit, and willing to flexibly work variable shifts across the cellar and lab.
Your role will contribute directly to the unique winemaking processes that define our estate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate cellar equipment for grape processing and fermentation
• Process and sort fruit while preserving quality
• Monitor juice transfers and separate fractions
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment
• Assist in bottling duties and basic lab work
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in winemaking or related field
• Previous harvest experience is preferred
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in varied temperature conditions
• Forklift Operator’s Certificate is an asset
