Roles & Responsibilities

Load and unload material on and off the burn tables in an organized manner

Safe operations of forklifts and other hand-held tools

Operate overhead cranes

Clean, label, organize and palletize parts

Maintenance and pre-shift inspections of machinery

Assist operators to efficiently meet deadlines and budgets

Follow all safety guidelines regarding safe operations of all equipment and shop activity

General shop cleanup

Qualifications

Steel-toed boots

Experience in the metal fabrication industry

Basic knowledge of tape measures

Overhead crane and forklift experience

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs and able to stand for extended periods of time

Organized and able to multitask

A positive attitude, self-motivated with a strong work ethic

Punctual and reliable

Good hand eye coordination

Ability to work independently and as a team, self-starter and energetic

Competent English skills
