Apply industrial sanitation skills at One Degree Organic Foods while cleaning processing equipment and maintaining safe production conditions. This physically demanding work includes chemicals and machinery.
As a Sanitation Associate, you will support food-processing sanitation across production areas and departments. The work includes disassembling equipment, operating pressure washers, using CIP systems, and following SOPs. You will also maintain sanitation documentation and address common equipment or sanitation issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble processing equipment
- Apply detergents, sanitizers, and degreasers safely
- Operate pressure washers and CIP systems
- Clean food-contact and non-food-contact surfaces
- Report equipment wear, damage, or sanitation risks
- Industrial, commercial, or food-processing sanitation experience preferred
- Comfort with industrial chemicals and reading SDS
- Mechanical aptitude for equipment disassembly and reassembly
- Ability to work in wet, cold, physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of HACCP or GMP is a plus
