Part Time Clinical Mentor

Enhance resident care as a Part Time RN/RPN Clinical Mentor with Fraser Health in Mission, B.C. Bring your nursing expertise to guide and support staff in Long Term Care settings.

Fraser Health is seeking a part-time RN/RPN Clinical Mentor to foster excellent resident-centered care. In this role, you will provide hands-on mentorship and practice support to nursing staff, collaborating closely with Nurse Educators and interprofessional teams. Your leadership will enhance clinical practice, develop staff skills, and ensure safety and quality in care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for nursing staff

• Provide elbow-to-elbow mentorship and practice support

• Conduct formal and informal clinical instruction for staff

• Lead staff to improve clinical skills and confidence

• Collaborate with leaders to identify learning needs

Requirements:

• Current RN registration with BCCNM

• Three years’ experience in Acute, Community, or Long Term Care

• Experience mentoring nursing staff

• Completion of leadership training or equivalent

• Valid BC Driver’s License and vehicle access may be required
