The full-time Nurse Practitioner will be essential in providing trauma-informed care at the Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC). Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will assess and treat patients while implementing population health strategies. You will also participate in skill enhancement programs to support your practice and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health
• Develop treatment plans based on clinical findings
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure quality care
• Provide education and supervision to other healthcare staff
Requirements:
• Must be registered as a Nurse Practitioner in B.C.
• Relevant clinical nursing experience is required
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Proven leadership and evaluation skills
• Assess and implement health promotion strategies
