Make a meaningful impact as a Community Mental Health Nurse with Fraser Health. Deliver compassionate care and support to individuals with mental health and substance use challenges in a collaborative team environment.
As a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will focus on providing comprehensive treatment and care management services tailored to clients’ needs.
Your role includes conducting mental health assessments, administering medications, and developing individualized care plans to promote recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team
• Conduct intake functions and mental health assessments
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Provide direct nursing care and administer prescribed medications
• Monitor clients' mental states and treatment responses
Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing program
• Two years of recent experience in mental health treatment
• Current registration with BCCNM
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
