Position
Quality Control Technician
Reports to:
Manager, Quality Assurance
Pay and Schedule
Starting Wage: $21.63/hour, with an increase to $22.66/hour after three months probationary period.
Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11PM - 7:30AM

Our business is growing rapidly and we’re now looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Assurance team! Our Quality Control Technician will help us ensure all our products meet regulatory, internal, and customer requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing
Monitor quality standards of finished products and raw ingredients coming into and leaving our warehouse facility.
Effectively communicate quality control expectations to employees and support with training for GMP’s.
Conduct QA tests to ensure products meet specifications.
Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures such as BRC, HACCP, GMPs, SSOP, process deviation, hold, and release procedures.
Maintain product traceability verifying lot numbers and systems.
Communicate effectively with the rest of the team to ensure clarity and continuity.
Perform various inspections to ensure quality (e.g., pre-operation, ingredient, shipping & receiving).
Provide backup support for other QA positions as needed.
Effectively solve problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending the right course of action.
Additional Requirements
You are willing to work flexible shifts to cover for vacations, sick days, or leave if required.
Skills & Qualifications
A Diploma/Degree in a science‑related discipline is considered an asset.
You have a basic working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
Nice to Have
Previous experience working in a food production facility.
Knowledge of GMPs and Good Lab Practices.
Valid driver's license preferred.
