This full-time role reports to a Delegated Team Leader, where you will focus on child protection and family development. Engage with Elders, community members, and families to assess needs, create family plans, and monitor progress. Your knowledge of Indigenous cultures and community dynamics will be crucial for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete family assessments using SDM tools
• Review family histories to identify necessary changes
• Arrange Family Case Planning and Group Conferences
• Develop comprehensive family plans
• Collaborate with service providers to meet needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum three years' experience
• Knowledge of AOPSI and child welfare policies
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Criminal records check and valid driver’s license
