Program Coordinator - Community Wellness

Become the Program Coordinator for Safety & Prevention Outreach in Mission, BC, and lead community wellness initiatives. Engage with diverse stakeholders to create innovative solutions to safety challenges.

Mission is looking for a community-minded professional to assume this vital role within the Community Wellness division. You'll report to the Manager and facilitate connections between enforcement, social services, and local businesses. Your focus will be on developing effective safety programs, collaboration, and enhancing community service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination of safety outreach initiatives

• Connect enforcement partners and social service agencies

• Develop and maintain strong community partnerships

• Support emerging issue responses and strategies

• Enhance delivery of services across various departments

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Social Services or similar

• At least four years of related experience in community safety

• Training in de-escalation and harm reduction is an asset

• Must possess First Aid with CPR-C and AED certification

• Valid BC Driver's License and pass Police Information Check
