Family Support Worker

Position: Full-Time Family Support Worker Role
Join Mission Community Services Society as a full-time Family Support Worker, addressing family challenges and improving lives within the community. This role focuses on assessment, intervention, and emotional support for clients.

As a Family Support Worker, you will gather information on clients' needs, assess family functioning, and develop intervention plans accordingly. You'll provide skill-building sessions and create resources for parenting and family communication. Attend case management meetings to track client progress and collaborate with other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect client information via interviews and observations

• Assess risks and identify necessary services

• Collaborate to develop and evaluate service plans

• Report on client progress in case management meetings

• Offer referrals to additional community resources

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• At least one year of relevant experience

• First Aid and Crisis Intervention certification

• License and reliable vehicle required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
