Position: Siloam Overnight Shelter Staff
Join Siloam Mission to provide overnight support in our emergency shelter. This role demands a trauma-informed approach while meeting the diverse needs of our community members.

In this position, you'll work closely with individuals facing homelessness, delivering critical support during overnight hours. Your responsibilities include ensuring safety, completing reports, and maintaining a clean environment. You will actively embody Siloam Mission's values while connecting clients with necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist community members with questions and needs

• Complete documentation and daily logs thoroughly

• Actively monitor safety and security protocols

• Incorporate housing-focused strategies in support

• Perform general cleaning duties for the shelter

Requirements:

• Diploma in social services or equivalent experience

• At least 1 year working with vulnerable populations

• Familiarity with harm reduction frameworks

• Commitment to ongoing training and development

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
