Become a Navigator with Ruth & Naomi's Mission in Chilliwack, BC, where you'll provide essential access support to individuals seeking income assistance. This casual, term contract offers a chance to apply your skills in a meaningful way.

As a Navigator, you will work closely with at-risk clients to overcome barriers to Ministry services and resources. You'll coordinate income assistance cheque distributions and offer trauma-informed guidance to enhance individuals' experiences with government systems. Serving as a crucial liaison, your efforts will facilitate vital access to necessary supports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the distribution of income assistance cheques

• Guide clients through Ministry eligibility and documentation processes

• Offer respectful and compassionate support to clients

• Connect individuals to appropriate crisis and resource supports

• Maintain detailed records and reports on service delivery

Requirements:

• Experience working with diverse populations facing barriers

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Class 5 Driver's License required

• Familiarity with social assistance systems is a plus

• De-escalation training beneficial
