Job Description

The Fitness & Sports Attendant supervises patrons in the weight room, gymnasium and fitness areas. Attendants are responsible for providing a clean and safe environment, aiding patrons as needed, as well as ensuring guidelines and etiquette is followed.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a BCRPA or equivalent Fitness Theory and Weight Training certification, along with current Standard First Aid, CPR “C,” and AED certifications. A Personal Training certification would be considered an asset.

Additional Information

Evening weekdays and weekend shifts between the hours of 5:15am to 10:00pm are available. Applicants should have the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $21.00 plus 4% vacation pay.
