Casual Bus Driver

This position reports to the Transportation Manager and involves independent work. You will be responsible for operating a bus to transport students, conducting daily vehicle inspections, and maintaining student safety. Effective communication and adherence to safety rules are vital as you interact with students, parents, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport students to designated locations and events

• Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections

• Maintain order among students during transport

• Report any mechanical issues promptly

• Ensure bus cleanliness and safety compliance

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduation

• Valid B.C. Class 2 driver's license and safe driving record

• Knowledge of school bus safety regulations

• Physical ability to assist students as needed

• Strong communication skills with diverse groups
