Syntax Talent Solutions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to join our team in Mission Bend, Texas. This permanent position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Manage all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational objectives.

• CPA is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven working experience as a Controller or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial modeling.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
