Float Patient Service Representative at California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy

Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.

Pay: $19بن22/hr (based on experience & skill set)

Schedule:
Part time
– clinics are open Monday‑Friday 7 am‑7 pm

Location: Mission Viejo, Irvine, Orange, Brea, Santa Ana, Laguna Hills, Huntington Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Mission Viejo, Newport Beach

Essential Job Functions:

Patient Interaction
  • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
  • Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
  • Help create a positive work environment and culture ensuring that patients' needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy.

Administrative Support
  • Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist in keeping the front office area neat, tidy, and organized.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Assist front office with tasks during downtime, including answering the phone, scanning documentsindest charts, scheduling patients, handling counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.
  • Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff,ETO and other departments.
Miscellaneous Operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks: daily equipment cleaning, tables, laundry, stocking supplies.
  • Physical Requirements
    • Sitting: prolonged periods at a desk while working on a computer and paperwork.
    • Manual Dexterity: use computer keyboard and perform tasks requiring dexterity.
    • Vision: clear vision for reading and analyzing documents.
    • Communication: ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
    • Mobility: occasional movement within the office environment.
    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
    • Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
    • Proficiency using office software and scheduling systems.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and bagno accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
