Float Patient Service Representative at California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy
Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a smooth and positive experience for our patients.
Pay: $19بن22/hr (based on experience & skill set)
Schedule:
Part time – clinics are open Monday‑Friday 7 am‑7 pm
Location: Mission Viejo, Irvine, Orange, Brea, Santa Ana, Laguna Hills, Huntington Beach, San Juan Capistrano, Rancho Mission Viejo, Newport Beach
Essential Job Functions:
Patient Interaction- Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient inquiries both in person and over the phone.
- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and necessary documentation accurately.
- Help create a positive work environment and culture ensuring that patients' needs are taken care of during transitional periods of therapy.
- Provide customer service with a smile. struct>
- Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Assist in keeping the front office area neat, tidy, and organized.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Assist front office with tasks during downtime, including answering the phone, scanning documentsindest charts, scheduling patients, handling counter payments, filing, faxing, etc.
- Communicate clearly and professionally to address patient concerns or questions.
- Liaise effectively between patients, clinical staff,ETO and other departments.
- Sitting: prolonged periods at a desk while working on a computer and paperwork.
- Manual Dexterity: use computer keyboard and perform tasks requiring dexterity.
- Vision: clear vision for reading and analyzing documents.
- Communication: ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Mobility: occasional movement within the office environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role; healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficiency using office software and scheduling systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and bagno accuracy in handling patient information and documentation.
