FOH Server/Cashier – No LATE NIGHTS
Sessions West Coast Deli is looking for a dedicated FOH Server/Cashier to work at the front of house with no late nights.
Job DescriptionThe FOH Server/Cashier may work in the capacity of Cashier, Expeditor, and/or Greeter.
Primary responsibilities include maintaining consistent customer service focus, greeting guests warmly, following high service standards, and handling orders and payments accurately.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate strong comprehension of menu including recipes, allergens, and dietary restrictions.
- Process guest orders in person or by telephone using the POS, handling cash and credit/debit card transactions with accuracy.
- Follow all cash handling procedures, including fraud protection, and responsibly manage register drawers.
- Present food to guests, circulate the dining room for service opportunities, pre‑buss and bus tables, and greet guests entering, standing in line, or exiting.
- Maintain clean floors, bussing service, wash dishes, restock bathrooms, wipe windows, and maintain overall restaurant cleanliness.
- Process guest orders at the register while pouring beverages and answering menu questions; keep front counter area clean and organized.
- Restock the ice bin, dry clean tumblers, and glassware.
- Communicate regularly and consistently with guests and employees across stations (BOH and FOH) to optimize service levels.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Strong customer service personality and skills.
- Prior experience in a customer service or restaurant environment preferred.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality; positive attendance record.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Current Food Handlers Card or Serv Safe Certificate.
- Minimum 6 months experience as a cashier in a hospitality or retail environment.
