The Emerson Public library is seeking a friendly, well-organized, proactive part-timecirculation assistant.
Responsibilities- Charging and discharging of materials
- Assisting patrons at circulation desks in Adult and Children’s Departments
- Handling interlibrary requests
- Light lifting and bending
- Assisting with programs in the Adult and/or Children’s departments
- Excellent English, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team or by themselves
- Knowledge of computers and other related technologies
- Willingness to learn new job responsibilities
Hours being offered are :
Tuesdays and Thursday 2pm-8pm, one Saturday per month from 11 am-3pm.
$15.89 per hour
Substitution hours for various times will also be offered. Public Library experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
