The Role 's PurposeThe Project Coordinator role will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery and governance of projects by providing administrative, logistical, and process-driven support across a variety of tasks. It will be a key part of the Innovation Services operations function, supporting the team with day-to-day responsibilities and more long-term continuous improvement projects. In addition to providing support on projects, the role will provide support to the Finance and Go To Market departments.
WhatYou'll Do Project Support & Governance
- Support project teams with documentation, tracking, and administration.
- Maintain project trackers, and files to ensure information is up to date.
- Schedule and coordinate planning meetings, governance boards, and workshops.
- Prepare agendas, take minutes, and track follow‑up actions.
- Organise retrospectives and collate outputs for team improvement.
- Maintain risk assessments and follow up on actions with stakeholders.
- Assist in gathering and compiling project updates for regular status reports.
- Ensure reporting deadlines are met and data is accurate and well‑presented.
- Assist in organising project‑related events, such as workshops.
- Maintain the events calendar and ensure timely communication of dates and details.
- Assist with budgeting processes and maintain records of project spend.
- Support invoicing activities and liaise with finance for timely payments.
- Completing framework compliance information.
- Researching or gathering information relevant to bids.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
- Support the documentation and rollout of new tools, templates, or ways of working.
Essential:
- Effective planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to keep track of multiple tasks and deliverables
- Analytical, with the ability to think critically and to understand, interpret and articulate complex concepts and requirements
- Able to demonstrate prioritisation whilst working on multiple projects.
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Comfortable handling data and providing data analysis
Desirable:
- Highly organised with an understanding of innovation and collaboration practices
- Ability to listen, facilitate and influence, including influencing senior leaders and external stakeholders and negotiating to achieve desired outcomes
Desirable:
- Experience working in an innovation / start‑up / venture environment. Ideally with proven experience working on projects or programme
- Good understanding of innovation, collaboration and project management practices, tools, and methodologies
- Experience with working with multiple stakeholders, such as startups and corporate clients, but also understanding the practicalities of working in a small and growing company
- Experience with processing and presenting high volumes of data
- Have the ability to thrive in ambiguous scenarios and work in a high‑pace environment
- Energised by the challenges and opportunities presented working for a high‑growth company
- A highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a range of stakeholder groups
- Team player and motivated self‑starter

- Salary: £30,000 - 31,000 depending on skills and experience
