OSHC Coordinator – St Pius Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) – Banyo
Banyo OSHC is located on the grounds of St Pius Catholic Primary School and is an extra‑large service supporting up to 195 children each day. It offers before‑school, after‑school and vacation care. The service provides a dedicated OSHC space and access to additional school facilities, allowing for a vibrant, engaging environment for children. Two Assistant Coordinators and a dedicated Regional Manager will provide strong support to the Service Leader.

- Oversee the daily operation of our Before, After and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
- Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
- Develop and implement innovative, play‑based programs that cater to children’s interests and needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
- Promote the service within the local community in alignment with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
- Diploma in Children Services or an equivalent qualification as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including the National Quality Framework, Standards and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child Protection training is required for this role.
- Proficiency with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
