About This Role

At Connection Christian Church, we are committed to fostering vibrant and genuine worship experiences that bring people closer to God. We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Worship Pastor to guide our worship and technical teams, creating an atmosphere where both volunteers and the congregation can deeply connect with God’s presence.

In this role, you will lead and mentor our musicians, vocalists, media, sound, and technical volunteers, overseeing the planning and execution of weekend services to ensure they are engaging, seamless, and impactful. Your leadership will nurture the growth of our worship ministry, inspiring everyone to worship with passion and purpose, all for God’s glory.

You will also manage the technical aspects of our worship environment, including sound, media, video, and stage lighting systems. This involves maintaining and improving these systems, overseeing updates, upgrades, and the integration of new technology to elevate the worship experience, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Additionally, you will oversee the creative design of all production elements, encouraging innovative ideas that align with our church’s mission. Your role will be to cultivate a worship ministry that is both creative and authentic, fostering meaningful personal and corporate worship.

• XPlan and lead worship services with the Worship Team, creating authentic worship experiences.
• Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of sound, lights, video, and graphics for services and events.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule volunteers for worship and tech teams, including instrumentalists and vocalists.
• Manage music ministry, media production (e.g., Pro Presenter slides, lyrics, visuals), and technical systems (sound, video, lighting, cameras).
• Lead technical arts and production teams, ensuring quality and minimal disruptions. XManage technology upgrades, media file production (e.g., online broadcasts), and graphic/video projects.
• Oversee technical aspects of special events (weddings, funerals) and maintain worship department budget, licensing, and resources.
• Collaborate with Lead Pastors to align services with church vision and doctrine. XFoster spiritual and leadership growth within teams through mentoring and discipling.

• Devoted Christ follower with integrity, a heart for worship, and a growing relationship with Jesus.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills with a servant’s heart.
• Proficient in audio, video, lighting, and media software (Pro Presenter, Planning Center, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools), or ability to be a quick learner of these programs.
• Skilled instrumentalist, vocalist, and sound mixer with media production expertise.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and adaptable, with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining confidentiality and moral purity.

• Reports to the Lead Pastor, participates in lead team meetings, and oversees worship and technical volunteer teams.
• Full‑time, salaried, 40+ hours/week, Sunday–Thursday, with in‑office and flexible work locations.
