As a Full Time Physician, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Berea, KY. The scheduled hours are:
- Monday 9:00am-6:30pm
- Tuesday 9:00am-3:00pm
- Wednesday 9:00am-5:30pm
- Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm
No weekends, no holidays, no on-call.
What You’ll Do- Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
- May provide occupational health services such as post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to work exams, and Worker’s Compensation medical guidance in some health centers.
- Conduct histories and physical examinations; prescribe medications and treatments based on best practice standards.
- Develop treatment plans collaboratively with patients; educate and advise on medical issues as needed.
- Provide referrals internally and externally to appropriate medical resources or specialties.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor patient progress.
- Identify emergency situations and provide care within legal scope of practice and Premise Health privileging process.
- Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
- Maintain medical records, possibly using Electronic Medical Record software.
- May formulate and administer health programs as needed.
- Provide overall responsibility for patient care in the absence of the Medical Leader.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- All state licenses to practice medicine.
- Federal DEA license matching each state of practice.
- State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (list of states included).
- Current board certification (ABMS, AMA, or AOA).
- Medical Degree.
- CPR (BLS or ACLS) certification with hands-on evaluation; online courses are not accepted.
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience.
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting; occupational healthcare experience may also apply.
