What You Will Do

Under the direction of Casey Laurienzo, Vice President, Community Engagement & Education, the Executive Director, EdPro Community Engagement will lead the design and execution of E&I’s member-facing engagement strategy—across digital, in-person, and hybrid formats. This includes building and managing our digital professional network (The EdPro Hub), delivering national and regional events, and developing educational content and leadership programs that position E&I as the trusted convener for the profession.

This role will shape how members connect, grow, and lead—while advancing E&I’s impact and influence in education procurement.

How You Will Do It

In close partnership with the Vice President, Community Engagement & Education and in collaboration with the E&I Marketing team, you will drive impact through the following:

Strategic Program Support & Execution
  • Assist in designing and executing a comprehensive engagement strategy that integrates community, events, and educational programs.
  • Translate member needs and institutional trends into high-impact programming that advances E&I’s mission.
  • Build and scale a dynamic portfolio of digital and in-person experiences that support professional development and peer connection.
Digital Community Leadership (EdPro Hub)
  • Establish and grow The EdPro Hub as the central platform for professional networking and knowledge exchange.
  • Lead user engagement strategies, content programming, and campaign design to drive participation and retention.
  • Oversee the identification of features and functionality (e.g., Resource Library, Peer Match, gamified onboarding) in collaboration with internal teams.
Leadership & Professional Development Programs
  • Expand and help manage flagship development programs, including EdPro Next Gen and EdPro Certification.
  • Coordinate with external partners (e.g., academic institutions) to ensure rigor and industry alignment.
  • Design pathways for growth and leadership within the education procurement profession.
Content Strategy & Thought Leadership
  • Develop an annual editorial calendar aligned to institutional priorities and procurement trends.
