Overview

The PositionHead Middle School Swim Coach for the season. The coach will work with the varsity coaching staff to create a dynamic, collaborative training environment and competitive program.
The Middle School swim season runs from late October through the end of January. Specific details around practice and competition schedules will be discussed during onboarding.
The Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Be dynamic, energetic, motivated, positive, and committed to the required time obligations.
- Conduct practices at minimum four (4) days per week – Monday through Thursday;
Friday practices may be optional depending on weekend competition schedule. - Practice on Hawken’s Gates Mills Campus from 3:30–5:00 p.m.
- Coordinate competition dates, primarily meets/invitationals on Saturdays, with potential weekday adjustments as needed.
- Previous coaching and/or swimming experience preferred.
- Required OHSAA and ODE trainings (coordinated with the Athletic Department upon appointment).

The four campuses are within 25 minutes of downtown Cleveland, with an urban extension center in the city’s museum district providing a demanding and integrated course of study in a diverse and dynamic environment.
